Gas Supply Plan

With an estimated 187 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) Nigeria serves as one of the most promising countries of natural gas resources and current estimates of Nigeria’s proved plus probable (“2P”) natural gas reserves substantially exceed current and prospective gas requirements for OKLNG, Brass LNG, NLNG Train 7 and domestic utilisation.

Specifically the OKLNG project requires 16 Tcf of gas for Trains 1 and 2 for a nominal 20-year period; with the gas being drawn from the large gas resources available in the Central and Western Delta Area. The gas will be routed to the OKLNG plant via 48” pipelines over a distance of 120Km, the shortest in Nigeria.
